So says Amrit Dhillon a columnist whose article
'india's hi-tech faultline' suggests that everything
in the deccan plateau, namely, Karnataka, Kerala,
Tamil Nadu and Andhra is better than the north in
nearly every term. The north is known for its bad
politics and e-coli and the only glueing factor that
keeps the bharat union -the creation of the british
empire is Cricket and Bollywood, again two components
of the west.

The writer further comments that the south is still
waiting for the north to catch up, but if it continues
to be a parasite the faultline may then continue to
widen.

Unfortunately for Goa, we Goans continue to be naive
and gullible. A few hot mixed roads and we become
proud that we have got a road in place. Issues such a
prononuced bharati migration, loss of jobs to
outsiders, plunder of the foreign exchange and several
others lends a deaf ear.
