As a fellow Goan, I must say that the sentiments that you have expressed give much food for thought. It helped me at least, really understand and empathise with the pain and distress of the Hindu community at the manner in which the religion and beliefs of their forefathers were denigrated and trampled upon and the bitterness it generated, that sadly, still lingers on.
This should serve as a revelation to people of all faiths of the damage we inflict through our intolerance and insensitivity towards each other. After all, we are all journeying to the same destination albeit through different paths. And I believe that no single religion can claim to have a monopoly on salvation.
