Cecil, Isn't the Flag Code 2002 not in force in Amchem Goa? Flag Code of India, 2002 has taken effect from January 26, 2002 by superseding the �Flag Code � India� as it existed, as I understand.
The Government of India has decided to allow unrestricted display of the National Flag by members of the general public, keeping in view the public sentiments. While bringing out the Flag Code of India, 2002 the Government has also ensured that the unrestricted display of the National Flag is consistent with the honour and dignity of the National Flag.
