The 'insider/gaunkar' and outsider/moradore/bhaille' does not hold good in a global village that we are heading to by 2005, thanks to WTO.
The issues that remain relevant are whether those without any stake in Goa's economy and development should be allowed to do business in Goa. If you run a restaurant, you must have all the permissions and pay your taxes as any law abiding citizen would. If you import, pay the customs duties. Do not file a FIR stating that the item is stolen and then sell it on the quiet. If you ride a bike or drive a car, you should have an international licence or a licence valid in India. One cannot drive a car in London or Bonn or Tel Aviv with an Indian licence. Why should one assume that the British,German or Israeli licence is superior to an Indian one....and hence valid here. It is this arrogance that we have to fight against. We will. We must. Pale faces are not always better,are they? In India , they should behave as guests should.....they are no longer rulers.
