I had never heard or read of a place or locality named thus. I guess it is part of Campal, a stretch by the river front in Panjim, and that the expression (nothing to do with Cecil's business!) is in Marathi or Hindi; and I imagine that "Darya" actually stands for the Konkani word "Dorya" (= Sea). If so, shouldn't it have been "Nhoim" or "Nodi" which means "River" in "amchi bhas"? And what is "Sangam"? Shouldn't "river front" be "nhoim fuddo" or "nodi fuddo" in Goa's language?
