In an unfortunate incident, the boat to Anjediva organized by a JoeGoa was sunk off the shores of Goa.
It is believed that the sinking was the result of a collision with a canoe manned by Bernado Colaco, the self declared admiral of the Goa liberation forces. Barely legible fragments from remainders of Bernardo's captain's log suggest that he was leading a force of one to liberate the island from the "Bharati infidels". It is speculated that he wanted to use the island as his base of operations to launch his follow-up assault on the main island of Goa. The following were some of the last few bits of garbled communications received from JoeGoa: --- Joegoa <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > "WHAT ONE CAN DO NOW MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DO LATER." > > "IF YOU CAN DO IT TODAY DO IT TODAY ITSELF, TOMORROW > MAY BE TOO LATE". > > "IT'S NOW OR NEVER". While experts are still trying to decipher the meaning of all of this, one senario envisions that JoeGoa was reciting notes from his "Procastinators Anonymous" lectures. Another less likely possibility suggests that he was singing verses from one of Elvis Presley's top hits. Regardless, both theories seem to suggest that JoeGoa was not paying attention to the course ahead of him, resulting in a direct collision with the equally oblivious Bernado, whose medical records indicate him having severe problems in seeing reality. On hearing this information, Filomena Giese, the mother of all misguided Goan patron saints said that she was touched by the selfless efforts of JoeGoa and Bernardo and would push for their nomination for sainthood.
