WIFE KILLS HUBBY AT ALDONA: Mohan Shenoy (54), a resident of Castilwado, Carona, was allegedly murdered by his wife Mona Shenoy (53) on February 2. Mohan was married to Mona since 1988. For Mona, however, this was her second marriage as her first husband had deserted her. She has three children from her first marriage, all of whom are abroad, and support the couple who have no source of livelihood. Yesterday, at around 1.30 pm, the couple after having drinks had a fight, with Mohan demanding money from the accused. Since she refused to part with the money he abused her children. In a fit of anger, Mona brought a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him on the chest. He breathed his last while being taken to the Primary health Centre at Aldona. (GT)
