KUWAIT-GOA TIATRISTANCHI SONVSTHA MAHA MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT
Kuwait-Goa Tiatristanchi Sonvstha (KGTS) http://www.geocities.com/kgts_10/Home.html proudly presents their Mega Musical extravaganza entitled �TIATR ANI TIATRIST�. A novel musical show, first of its kind in the State of Kuwait, with 22 Musicians and selected artistes from Goa , Mumbai and Kuwait opens curtains on February 20, 2004 at Gulf English School, Rumaithiya at 3:30 pm.
An honorary tribute to all senior, retired Konkani Stage artists for their dedicated service to the Konkani Stage unfolds in the form of a nostalgic travel back in time to meet and greet amche tiatrists. A rich blend of musical bonanza, drama, comedy and rich tributes to the legends of yesteryears come packed in one show engrossing the audiences till finish.
A galaxy of famous Konkani artistes especially flown from Goa and Mumbai include:
veteran Remmie Colaco,
invincible famous Trio Kings, Jr.Rod � Joaquim - Anthony,
sensational duet Team Peter - Roshan,
indomitable Joe Rose and
the laugh riot, Comedian Domnic.
The KGTS members, including Francis de Verna, Santan Afonso, Cajetan de Sanvordem, Jose Rod, Marcus Vaz, Mario de Majorda, Sylvester Vaz, Jennifer Rodrigues, Domnic Araujo, Manuel de Santa Cruz, Ketty de Navelim, Martinho Martins, Mario de Colva, Laurente Pereira, Joe Frank, Gracy Morais, Tony Carr, Remmie Rebello, Mariano Lucas, Milagres Fernandes, Xavier Furtado, Damien D�Cruz, Cajie de Benaulim, Zorraster Coelho, Alex de Consua, Francis (Shahu) Almeida, Menino Fernandes and Comedians Philip and Nelson along with other members will enliven the show with their presence.
The next generation of torchbearers of the Konkani Stage, the newly formed Young Trio of Kuwait, Jonathan-Clifford-Terence, await once again to display their talents on Stage.
The Goan brass team of
Juju Fernandes (Benalium) on Saxophone,
Luis Rodrigues (Ribandar) and Agnelo Dias (Panjim) both on Trumpets
will team up with 19 local musicians to charm the audiences with their scintillating musical scores. The local musical squad includes Music Conductor Tony, Faustino (Trumpet) and Band Leader Soccoro (Lead Guitar) with Agnelo (Drums), Francis, Flavian and Menino (percussions), Chaminda (Octopad), Ben, Jhovy, Joel (Guitar), Denis (Bass Guitar), Philip, Shavu, Shyam (Keyboard), Frederico, Marlinda (Piano). Mahadev (Flute), and David (Violin).
Digital sound like never before by Kuwait�s best sound Master Spiders and light effects by Julio Cardozo with many onstage surprises complete the package.
