He shot at cat, but targeted a woman

Margao, Feb 9
A cat's constant habit to eat his cooked food prompted one Bismark Moraes
to plot the death of the feline with the help of a gun on Sunday evening.
He however landed in trouble, when the bullet accidentally hit a 50 -year
old woman.
On noticing the cat enter his house, Bismark picked up the .22 rifle and
fired at the animal. Instead, the bullet targeted a woman, who was
proceeding, with a 'present' for a wedding.
While the shot missed the cat, it hit the buttock of the woman, who is now
admitted in the GMC for an operation to remove the bullet. The gun has
been attached by the police.
Bismark has been arrested under Sections 336 and 338 of the IPC and under
Section 25 of the Indian Arms Act, said Cuncolim PI Manjunath Dessai.
