Summarizing some of the recent emails on this forum: The Inquisition did not happen in Goa. If it did happen, non-Catholics supportive of the Carnival but not King Momo are to be blamed. A migrant group called Jews-for-Jesus (although that is not their official name as they believe a rose should be called a daisy and is just as sweet) clarified that Kashmiris came to Goa on boats but not with the Jews (at least not with the persecuted Jews according to Tariq). Santosh is looking into their common DNA and his inquiry (not to be misunderstood as inquisition) may become a separate chapter in the soon to be released book RATIONAL MINDS & HISTORY.
Gilbert, currently from Aldona, traced his ancestral roots to Moira, a migration which occurred between 1580-1750, although there is no historical record except some third-rate story in a revisionist Hinduvta newspaper in Baina (actually Panjim but many Goans in Mphasa say whats the difference - they say it in Marathi but people think it is Konkani as it sounds like the Devnagiri script used in Church). There were 32 entries in Cecil Pintos Valentine contest, although 31 never hit the SEND button on their computer. Melinda won 12 daises (a rose by any name is still a daisy, except is Assagao where the locals call it cashew feni and insist on drinking it). 118 goals were not scored in two recent soccer matches. Under investigation, the referees and teams clarified they occasionally use Roman numerals. Hence, they wrote II8 (10 goals) but the revisionist, biased press misquoted the score. Noted journalist Fred Noronha said this is the first instance of Roman bias in Goan sports media. Jose Colaco said the first instance was in a SIDDI football game, but no one talks about the SIDDIS. Paulo Colaco clarified under existing Portuguse law none of the football players qualified for Portuguese passports, but that should not stop them from consuming Portuguese Porto wine, even if they had fake Indian passports.
