It is my firm belief that although we argue and might disagree with one another on the Goanet, during this interaction some kind of link is forged. I also believe that there is no long term animosity imbued. I too, have travelled widely as have many who participate on this forum. Every man/woman to their own, my wife and my own inclinations were to try and meet as many Goans as we could. We met Goans in Singapore and had the Annual SFx Feast celebrations at the Portuguese Church. We also met Goans in Hong Kong.
In Singapore our house was always open to the shipees during the Christmas season. In short we love to be with Goans, even when we are mal treated. I guess that is our make up. When you family mistreats you, you get annoyed and frustrated but when the chips are down and need to be counted, we Goans are usually there for one another, as we would for the family. Long may we continue to argue on Goanet! Cheers, Gabe Menezes. ########################################################################## # Send submissions for Goanet to [EMAIL PROTECTED] # # PLEASE remember to stay on-topic (related to Goa), and avoid top-posts # # More details on Goanet at http://joingoanet.shorturl.com/ # # Please keep your discussion/tone polite, to reflect respect to others # ##########################################################################
