My dear Tony,

I am going to contact a couple of madical friends for recomendation to the right clinic to find out if Sweden has the necessary expertize. They are not bad, you know. Especially research at institutions like the Karolinska (The Nobel Institution) are second to none. Hope I can find something helpfull. Terrible for the poor girl.

But it would be great if our friends in the US could find out the pssibilities there. Perhaps Gilbert, Joe Collaco, others could help out.

Will hear from me soon,
Alfred

Hi

My Daughter Nikki (8 years, Std II) is suffering from
meningomyelocele with neurological deficit leading to
sphincter dysfunction and motor deficit. This is a
birth defect which in lay terms means she has no
control over her bowel movements. She walks with a
limp.
If anybody knows of a doctor who could help I would be
most happy to refer her to him or her.
She was operated by Dr Sanjay Khope well known
neo-natal surgeon on the day of her birth.

Regards

Anthony M Barreto (Tony Martin)
