[Goanet]Destroyed temples

Godfrey Gosalves has said the following on this forum, supposed to be a 
question to the Goa CM:

"How would you react  to a demand by the RSS, VHP or Bajrang Dal, outfits or 
your right wing Bharatiya Janata Party , to restore the destroyed Hindu 
temples where now churches exist?"

To this, I had said:

"Now, we all know that temples were destroyed and in some of the places 
churches were constructed in their place.  But this is the first time that I 
have heard that such a demand has been made by any Hindu organisation.  Has 
such a demand been actually made, or is it just a rhetoric question?"

I thought it was clear that we were discussing the issue in context of 
churches in Goa.  I am therefore surprised to read the follwing from Alfred 
de Tavares:

"Pray, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't there some such demand at 
Ayodhaya, concerning one Babri mosque, I believe..."

So, my question still stands, and I would appreciate if a reply is given.
