My solemn support to GPC Education Cell. Finally we
are seeing some light to improve our skills in
English. Exclusion of English language in primary
education was an impediment to our little ones and
would trigger hindrance of socialising with English or
International Counterparts. Likewise other private
schools (those affiliated to other Education boards
other than GU) were harvesting on such opportunity.
Goans were the one of the lot that benefits from this
'idiom'. Russia, Poland and other non english
speaking natives are including 'How to Speak English'
in your leisure itinary.

INTRODUCE ENGLISH FROM STANDARD I: The Goa Pradesh
Congress Education Cell has suggested that English
subject be introduced from standard I onwards and that
Goa State Council for Education, Research and Training
be granted total autonomy. (GT)
