GOA ELECTIONS WEBSITE LAUNCHED

A new website has been launched by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer,
Goa with the URL http://www.electionsgoa.nic.in. The website is designed to answer
most of the queries that citizens may have regarding the election process viz. How do
they enroll as a voter? Where do they get an Electors� Photo Identity Card? Where do
they go to vote?
An important feature of the website is that the entire Electoral Roll of Goa
is available on it in PDF(read-only) format, allowing everyone to access the roll
right from their home. Anyone can even search for his/her name in the roll.
The website also features the contact addresses and numbers of all election
related officers in Goa and important statistics of previous elections, both for Lok
Sabha and State Assembly.
Feedback and comments are solicited in helping us improve the website further.
