First I must say that I am offended when Gilbert says: "As anyone (with 2
functioning brain cells) would tell that one cannot convert the mind and the
heart of others by engaging in these barbaric acts." I am offended with his
words in brackets.
I do not know why Gilbert is going on and on with respect to the denial of
destruction of temples and churches being built on them. I said that this
is history, and no serious Hindu organisation is asking for their return.
However, I think the manner of denial can be very irksome, and this may
create an unwanted reaction.
Gilbert seems to want to pretend that the history of the Catholic church is
Goa is without blemish. I can well understand his good intention. But the
manner in which he is doing it is becoming counterproductive. So I wonder if
Gilbert is really a person with good intention, and not an enemy of the
Catholic church. As I said earlier his going over the issues over and over
again is irksome.
