Re: Cultural Symbols of Goa

Gilbert responds:
Goa has a state flower, state fruit and a state drink. Why don't we work
with what we have instead of starting something new? Just a suggestion.

I am thankful for two serious suggestions: cashew (-nut?) and abolim. I
am
looking forward to a more meaningful and productive debate. It is
curious
that GoaNetters cannot get themselves to characterize the culture that
they
seem to be cherishing and defending so very often on this forum. It
generally peters out into meaningless abstractions. This is an
opportunity
to place the finger on the essentials of our culture.
