And most certainly there were no Bharati *bhois* in Goa when the *machilas* were around! I think you need to re-check that post. And bear in mind that it was in response to Bernado's *bollocks* ;-) On a serious note, I fully agree with your perception of the Bharat of today -- and dare add that were it not for bad economic (and demographic) policies in the first 40 years since Independence, India ought to have been today far better than China, in terms of national prosperity, not numbers.
