Joe, I fully agree with you when you say 'The use & sound of D, L, N, T v/s DD, LL,NN, TT'
Some words are commonly mis-spelt. e.g. dolle (and not dole) (eyes) Polle is not equal to pole (Polle=to see, pole=cheeks) Mannik (and not manik) (diamond) Mitt (and not mit) (salt) IMO you've misspelt Hoddo/Foddo (bald); it should be "Khodd'ddo/i/em"; but I've not found what Hodo/Fodo in the dictionaries; could you clarify? I agree with 'The use & sound of D, L, N, T v/s DD, LL,NN, TT' Some words are commonly mis-spelt. e.g. dolle (and not dole) (eyes) Polle is not equal to pole (Polle=to see, pole=cheeks) Mannik (and not manik) (diamond) Mitt (and not mit) (salt). How wud u write this English words/sounds in Konkani?
