Dear Alfred,

Thanks for the input.  You are absolutely right, I had that from the horse's
mouth, the late Kamat de Assolna, who had confirmed that political
detainees were treated quite leniently in Portugal.

Now my friend Ole Xac will say the *traitors* didn't deserve that treatment!
