9th April 2004 was the first anniversary of the fall of Saddam Hussains Iraq. The big Statue of Saddam in Iraq was brought down by the coalition force and thus demolished the once mighty power of Saddam and his Bath party. Many people shed crocodile tears over the fall of Saddams Iraq. Many people all around the world including in Goa demonstrated and protested over the decision of Anglo-American move to oust Saddam by waging a deadly war on Iraq a year ago. Many amongst the same people also demonstrated in a similar manner on the first anniversary of the starting of this war last month. These people had soft corner for Saddams Iraq but they never had soft corner for those who suffered from the attrocities of Saddams brute power. When Anglo-American war started the supporters of so called justice for Saddams Iraq made a big noise against USA & UK but when Saddams Iraq sent its troops to invade Kuwait and brutalise the citizens and expatriates in Kuwait none of the people who supported Saddam as indicated above demonstrated and protested. When Saddam used biological weapons against his own citizens Kurds none of these fake justice seekers for Saddam condemned this act. When Saddam Hussains Iraq waged an unwarranted war on Iran none of the so called justice seekers for Saddam condemned this war. For 20 years Saddam suppressed Shias in Iraq and none of them could challenge the power of Saddam. But now when Anglo-American initiated war for the freeom of Iraq from Saddams brute power got victory the same Shias with some other ingredients started showing muscle power in a wrong way. Instead of thanking USA and Britain and all other nations who fought for the cause of freedom of Iraqi people they are brutalizing their liberators. Ingratitude is thy hallmark oh destructive men in Iraq. Show your gratitude to USA first. They are come to Iraq not to colonise Iraq and hoist American Flag over Baghdad. The destruction of Saddam and his Bath party was the need of the hour. Saddam Hussain's Iraq was a constant threat not only for the security of the neighbouring countries but also for the entire world because Saddam Hussain was the staunch supporter of deadly terrorist groups all around the world who could reach with destructive elements anywhere in the world. Yesterday it was 11/September but tomorrow it could be anything anywhere in the world. That was the power of Saddam brutality and terrorism. If yesterday it was USA Trade Centre destruction then today and tomorrow it could be anywhere including India. When there was a small threat of Islamic terrorists in India the Hindu leadership of India went for extra cover and if Al Qaeda supported by Saddams Iraq had to embark on such a mission India could go into flames. The Shias are now fighting for a pound of flesh from USA and Sunnis. Well, it is their right to fight for their power but I would admire them if they had to fight for the same right during the regime of Saddam Hussain.
America will never surrender and leave Iraq abruptly. It is not a soccer game to give walk-over. America has sacrificed their men and materials to oust Saddam and his regime and when they have done so many sacrifices I dont think they will just hand over power to anyone whom they dont trust. It is right to hand over power to Iraqis but which Iraqis? America alone will decide however much more sacrifices they may have to do. They have their own purpose. While fighting the terrorism in Iraq Americans will polish their skill of fighting and testing all types of weapons. They did this type of exercise in Vietnam and gained lot of experience. Iraq is like a God given opportunity for them to improve their fighting skill against insurgency and terrorism. In Iran American has great opponent. Iranians are ruled by Shias and if Iraq is also allowed to rule by Shias I am sure American will have opponents on both the sides. This American will not easily allow to happen. Almost it is become a routine now in Iraq to kidnap foreigners. Recently some Americans were killed, their bodies mutilated and demonstrated on the street without any human decency. I dont think any of the religions allow such cruelties and those who commit such cruelties are committing great sacrileges and for such people there will never be a place in Gods abode. For such cruel people there is no Heaven however much they may pray and shout in the name of God. Those who commit inhuman acts are committing crime against humanity and against the commandment of God. Even those who keep silence over such attrocitis are equally guilty. America may be evil but for many America is a necessary evil and if there is no current America then men like Saddam Hussain and his gang and organizations like Al Qaeda will mushroom all over. Even those countries who are talking ill of America will have to accept this fact. If it was not for America till today Taleban would rule there and create more of September 11 incidents in many other parts of the World. To preserve the peace all around the world we need strong hand and that hand can be given only by America in the current situation, however much we may dislike America. Once again I must say that America may be evil but necessary evil and only this evil can silence the brute might of brute rulers and cruel organisations that are showing their cruelties in the name of God and in the name of their religious believes.
