Gilbert,
Sure, stay at home - that's your prerogative and I respect your feelings.
But as for me, I'm off to vote..!

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree with you that " we are just about fed up of
lame duck choices being offered to us by the Congress and other parties, who
reveal their bankruptcy of ideas, people, and ideology, time and time again
at every election." But then consider - on the other hand, we have another
party who is definitely not bankrupt of ideology, but is systematically and
intelligently putting into place a very dangerous gameplan that could have
serious and far reaching repercussions for the country.

A long time ago, when I got involved in an agitation, someone told me
that I was "rolling with the pigs".
But I believe that only when we step down from our pedestals and are
prepared to be part of the hurly burly of human life with all its ups, downs,
muck, dirt, hopes and betrayals, can we hope to make at least a small impact
in changing the system for the better. After all, just by living in society,
we become part of the system, either by omission or commission. In the
process of course, we may make mistakes and blunders because we are only
human. The only thing is that one's intentions and motives have to be above
board. But of course,
each one must follow his inner guide.

Regards, Diana
