b) Did you contact the Pope and find out if this happened?
c) Did Mel Gibson give permission to screen his movie inside churches even before it was released in the country? Or is this conjecture on your part?
Please phone the Vatican and find out exactly how many copies of the movie (and with what instructions) Mel Gibson gave the Pope and how they multiplied like the loaves and the fish. Also find out why the print is bad, the image elongated and the running time drastically reduced. Find out if what is being shown in Goa/India is Gibson/Pope authorised.
While you're on the phone you could maybe also get some figures and facts on the Inquisition in Goa.

I am apologising in advance to please defenders of the faith who cannot seem to keep religion separated from logic, ethics and the law. The movie is going to be released in theatres in India on 7th of May 2004 with an 'A' rating and no cuts. I advise the interested, and the faithful, to wait till it is legally released and see it on the wide screen, and uncut, in a proper movie theatre - as the producers intended it to be seen. That is the best way to view and appreciate the movie.
