With due regards to self and other readers of Goanet etc, I must say that it's only the Brits who are out of tune with the Mothers Day date; I am preety sure the rest of the English speaking or English allied world observes the 'second Sunday in May' as the Day. I should say: The Brits should fall in line in this as well as in joining 'the European Union completely with the Euro included. That will go a long way toward curtailing divisive tendencies and snobbish behavior. Have a Good Laugh!
