What "qualifications" would you stipulate?

GBS, one of the greatest play/theatre critics as well as playwright down the ages had no formal education, none at all. Self-educated in toto. And, legion others in the realms of literature; I could go on ad infinitum.

If you don't like what Eugene wrote, you're free to write a counter-view.
Don't try and discredit him by questioning his credentials.

Goanet presents different points of view from its readers -- who are,
often, also its writers. In Eugene's case, he happens to be a professional
writer, who has been widely published in the Indian national press. But
that is irrelevant, as all perspectives are welcome, as long as these
are withing the framework of the Goanet guidelines.
