Judge Laurie:  K said they are mutually exclusive? Attention can
concentrate and concentration can attend?

Unless we can exhume K and bring him in as an
expert witness, I think the prosecution should get O' Reilly here
to deal with the defense before my courtroom spins out of control.

gv: it is not a problem. You are entitled to your opinion.
But let's look at what you see as a contradiction. Does
insight preclude thought? Thought is by its very nature
symbolic and employs all sorts of imagery. For example
you and I can engage in a discussion of people in
history who were leaders in any particular field of
endeavor. We can compare and contrast their views,
their personalities, there various characteristics. We
never met them but we can speak intelligently about
them based upon our shared knowledge. There is
no confusion there. The confusion enters where we
confuse ideation with reality which is centerless.
As K said, attention is not concentration but it can
concentrate. They are not mutually exclusive.
