Hi All, I have noted that Goanetters number more than 6500 or close to 7000 from the latest remarks on this forum. I was wondering if all of us could contribute just Rs.100 each (no more - no less) totalling Rs.650,000 or Rs.700,000 and help some schools in remote places in Goa. I know of one school in Korgao - Sant Francis Vidhyalaya, Maina, Korgao, Pernem-Goa, 403 512, the Principal of which is Fr. Dominick Noronha - which could surely take some help in bringing more facilities to the school kids by completing the construction / doing up of the school building, putting up a decent library, purchasing sports items, etc. As I was given to understand a couple of years back, this is a village with about 1500 families, with no major income except from agriculture and cashew plantation (seasonal), with about no village member working in foreign countries, etc. I wish somebody *in Goa* would be kind enough to spend some time on this issue, meet with the Principal and see what can be done to help this school. Any willing soul with some spare time on his / hands out there? God Bless All Agnelo Fernandes
