GOACOM DAILY NEWS CLIPPINGS Oct 12, 2004 GOACOM VIDEO NEWS: Video Clip from Goa on the first Session of HERITAGE JAZZ YATRA organised by Armando Gonsalves of Trancemedia at Rebelo Mansion at Betalbatim on October 10, 2004, at http://www.goacom.com/news Clips_Heritage_Jazz Yatra_1: ALL EYES ON POINGUINIM: Can the BJP nominee, Isidore Fernandes, make it three times in a row in a new avatar? Or will the united opposition candidate, Jagdish Acharya, improve his second position in the 1999 assembly polls to upstage his rival? Either way, the result is being awaited as a new landmark for the ruling party and the opposition forces to realign. Hardly any bye-election in Goa's history has evoked such keen interest as the Poinguinim contest, which is crucial by the BJP government for its stability while the Congress is hoping for a win and a turnaround in its political fortunes. Portions that have gone onto make a new aggressive Molotov cocktail for the Congress. And it's put the party on a high.
