Just an idea
To finalise the great argument of which Goan sausage is the best ! , I would like to suggest that we organise an
ALL GOA SAUSAGE tasting contest !
Any takers ?
Suggestions for rules etc. to be submitted on this Goan Forum.

Let's us go a step further and make it:
ALL GOA-WORLD SAUSAGE CONTEST!!!
Because I have come accross Goan cheuri�o enterprise, turning out sausage of remarkable
quality in Lisbon (Narana Coissoro introduced me to two places), London and Paris.
Especially in Paris which has quite a concentration of expatriates from Taleigao, Goa Velha,
Sta Cruz and Agassim, and where all essential pork components are easily available, I could find no difference in taste or consistency. Of couse, the family where I tasted then, and was given quite a parcel to carry back with me, had the great fortune of their mother/mather-in-law staying with them, as their baby-sitter, and provided with ingredients, launched at the task with undiluted gusto and industry.
Then there will be our matrons preparing them in UAE, etc, although perhaps compelled to substitute pork with beef. Well that could be classified as hybrid-cheuri�o, amd alloted a category of its own.
So could feature improvisations from G-communities in Germany, Scandinavia, etc.
I have myself tried my hand at it, here in S., and my tongue, which is not a little fastidious, has passed off the result as quite appreciable; so did, Mario, Dom, Stephen Pereira and a few others, when they have been with me. I think these should be credentials enough.
