-------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2nd October Consumer Awareness Camp at Bicholim -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, is organizing a awareness camp for consumers on 30th September, 2004, at 4.00 pm at the Bicholim Municipal Town Centre Hall at Bicholim.
The Chairperson of the Bicholim Municipal Council Mr. Satish Gaonkar will be the Chief Guest, The Chief Officer of the Bicholim Municipal Council Mr. S.Y. Bhikoji and the Mamlatdar of Bicholim Taluka Mrs. Siddhi Faterpekar will be the Special Invitees.
In the function the general public shall be given an opportunity to ask consumer rights related questions to the Department of Civil supplies & Consumer Affairs and Department of Legal Metrology.
Mr. N. B. Narvekar, Director Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and Mr. N. M. Naik, Controller Legal Metrology will participate in the interaction with the consumers.
The function is organized by the Department to make all the consumers aware of their rights, to know about the Grievance Redressal Agencies, their functioning and also the various efforts undertaken by the Government for the awareness of the Consumers.
