The children of the Saligao Institute story-telling club requested me to put out their work on the Net. So here goes:

The eel

Once there was an eel
Who lived in the sea
Worms he ate for his meal
While he jumped with glee.

He went for a swim
In the deep blue sea.
There he found
A Golden Key.

[Gaby, Leanne, George, Nina, Suhail and Leticia]

--

The dog

Once there was a dog
  Whose name was Bog
He met a forg
  Sitting on a log.

Then one day, he went to the field
Searching, looking for his meal

He found a bone
Which was his own.

[Isabel, Riza, Victoria, Shanavaz and Tarika]

Under the supervision of Giselle Lobo and team.

FOOTNOTE: Stretch your kids imagination. Let them tune into stories narrated by a real-life person (and not a television!) The story-telling hour is open each Wednesday, from 5 to 6 pm, at the Saligao Institute.
