The recent contract concluded with FC Porto is a light
in the dark. I am referring to the continous barrage
of anti-Portuguese attack by some bharatis not only
this forum but the Goan imprensa.

Jovito Lopes was the famous sports editor of the NT
and Susana Souza was a very famous athlete.

Susana was a polivalente sportswoman and given her
talent could have easily made it at high level sports
overseas, but due to policies of indian rule Goan
athletes and sportspersons have lost a lot. But on the
other hand one should say it is better late than never
and I hope that under the current situation our
athletes will shower Goa with an new image as it is
known overseas.
