One of the smaller Christian-related magazines in India, *Vishal Jagruit*, reports that Sr Doris D'Souza AC rejected an appointment as the first woman vice-chancellor of the Patna University.
Says the mag: "The rare appointment had come on July 31, but after a few days of speculation, during which Sr Doris was inaccessible to the Press, she finally said 'No', citing her congregation's rules as the reason for not accepting the august post."
Would anyone have details? Does Sr D'Souza have a Goa link?
