Was the Goa govt involved in the lease agreement? Or was Goa (and its citizens) just treated as "spoils of war"?

JC response: Gabrielbab, May be in Dabo-Limb (as der Navy guys call the place ) .....yes.....may be in Dabo-Limb it is that a LEASE agreement confers OWNERSHIP to the one who leases the property.
Now....What do we call this form of stuff where the natives of the place are NOT consulted ? DHEMO-CRACY!

On the other hand, Gabriel and Goan Voices Gaspar - it is possible that Sripad's 150 crores were paid to the Portuguese as compensation.
Hummmh......you never know. May be they used that money to build those Euro 2004 football stadiums (stadia)
