RESPONSE: The present C.M. Manohar Parrikar, when he sets his mind on a project, he perseveres. It should not surprise Goans that this issue of landing disputes will continue with the Navy. The C.M. has chosen to build Mopa Air Port and this will happen, no matter how much opposition, the C.M. will prevail. Think of the baksheesh involved in this huge project which will also include highway roads avoiding the NH 17. Some are bound to be set up for life! Cheers, Gabe.
