Defense Minister Pranab Mukherjee said Thursday.

"The IAF is in the process of phasing out the MiG-21, MiG-23 and MiG-25 fighter aircraft depending on the calendar life/total technical life of the aircraft," the minister told parliament.

"These aircraft will be phased out from service between 2006 and 2017."
