GOAN INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP: The following scholarships, subject to the
conditions indicated below, will be awarded to students of Goan parentage
successful at the SSC exam/degree course held in the academic year of
2003-2004:
FRANCISCO LUIS GOMES SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is
offered to two students who get the highest and
second-highest percentage of marks at the SSC Examination
(Bombay Board) provided that he/she continues his/her
studies in any recognised college.
SERVITO DE MENEZES MESQUITA SCHOLARSHIP: One scholarship for securing
the highest percentage of marks in Hindi, and another scholarship for
securing the highest percentage of marks in English at the SSC exam
(Bombay/Pune/Goa Boards).
LUIS JOSE DE SOUZA SCHOLARSHIP: To be awarded to a student
studying for a degree course and requiring annual
assistance for fees or books, which will be given for
three years till he/she finishes his/her degree,
provided progress in studies is reported at the end of
each year.
Applications accompanied by marks obtained and countersigned by the
Principal from the school/college from which he/she appeared for the SSC or
is studying for his/her degree course, should reach the Hon General
Secretary, The Goan Institute, Dabul, Mumbai 400002 by November 16, 2004 the
