My skin does not crawl when I see a former-Republican like Teresa Heinz Kerry who saw
the light
and became a Democrat.

Sticking to the facts once again, her is some info. on a remarkable First Lady to-be:

1. President George Bush Sr. appointed her in 1992 as part of a State Department
Delegation
representing U.S. non-governmental organizations at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

2. She Chairs the Howard Heinz Endowment and the Heinz Family Philanthropies,
supporting
education, children, reducing the cost of prescription drugs, promoting the arts and
helping women
achieve financial economic security.

3. She established the Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement in 1996 to educate
women about
pensions, savings, and retirement security.

4. She has received numerous awards and 10 honorary degrees.

5. In September 2004, she was presented with the prestigious Albert Schweitzer Gold
Medal for
humanitarianism, for her work protecting the environment, promoting health care and
education and
uplifting women and children throughout the world.

6. Elected fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2001.

Please re-read #1 above to see who support her. Republican loyalty is fickle - just
like Donald
Rumsfield who went to Iraq in 1983 and met Saddam to do business with him (sell US
arms). The
same arms Saddam used to kill people. Now Rumsfield and other Republicans sing a
different tune.

Regards,
George
