For those of you who do not know, the US state of Michigan has the largest arab/muslim concentration in America. Chris's comment was clearly meant to be a personal attack on Tariq and his religion. The odious statement by Chris Vaz is highly unfortunate and displays the true colors of the extreme right wing who have hijacked the republican agenda established by Ronald Reagan. Chris's sentiments have nothing to do with politics or policy, but it does have everything to do with hate and intolerance.
