It is possible that in the heat of rhetorical battle we express ourselves more vigorously than we intend to. My remarks were directed more at the opposition forces in general rather than specifically to Mr. Tariq although it might appear otherwise. I would be the first to extend an apology to Mr Tariq if he took offence. I have written separately to him explaining the rationale.

Mr Tariq took offence - otherwise he would not ask you for an apology - as such you write that you would be the first extend an apology, regrettably this has not happened. F.Y.I. there are more than a handful of Goanetters that have taken offence - reckon on the responses. Your are digging your self into a hole into which the rest of us will find, it difficult to extricate you from. What is so difficult and hard for you to raise your hand up and say 'mea culpa' ? The ilk of you have been observed on this forum ( I bet you don't like, the ilk of you.....) How do you think Tariq felt? For some it is difficult to say sorry. Excuses will be made as to what was intended and what others perceive! The bottom line is that you have abused a fellow Goanetter (Human being) the least you could do is say sorry and allow the rest of us to move on. We and especially myself do not want to grind you down, please allow us a way out.
Incidentally was Christ an Anglo Saxon person or was the of Middle East extraction? Also was Christ radical?
