an Alsatian, was breath taking. Not only did the dog walk in the trainer's
foot-steps, it sniff identified a human scented kerchief correctly and with
ease. Its discipline to sit in one place as commanded by the trainer was
commendable.
RESPONSE: Baba the right name for the dog is German Shepherd Dog. I am amazed that the countries once colonized by G.B still call the dog an Alsatian. Even here in the U.K. we now recognise and call it by its proper name - the World war II and propaganda have long disappeared as far as the breed names goes!
