Hey, Tim, Two Republicans were having a drink in the hotel bar. One said to the other, "What do you think of the Democrats who are lining up at the border seeking asylum?" Replied the other, "I think it's a pretty good start!" By the way, the reason the draft will not be re-institudes is twofold: a) The jihadis will soon give up the ghost as Libya did, now that they don't have a Kerry administration to look forward to b) Theree is no need because of all the Americans enlisting. They seem to understand instinctively the need to defend freedom and democracy, here and elsewhere, and they have done this throughout history. c) There are plenty of troops defending Germany from drinking too much beer, and S. Koreans from eating too much kimchi and dogmeat, which can be re-deployed. d) It is very inefficient and expensive to have people drafted for two years at a time, and train them only to see tham move on after their tour. --- Tim de Mello <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > ########################################################################## > # If Goanet stops reaching you, contact > [EMAIL PROTECTED] # > # Want to check the archives? > http://www.goanet.org/pipermail/goanet/ # > # Please keep your discussion/tone polite, to > reflect respect to others # > ########################################################################## > > I was watching CNN this morning and part of > Cafferty's report was on the > probable emigration of Americans to Canada. > > He said that the web traffic to Canada's immigration > site had icreased 11 > fold.
