Kuwait City: Nov 9: Hosts G.O.A (Yellow) crashed out of the 8-A-Side
Ramadan Tournament organized by Goan Overseas Association, when they
lost 1-2 in the tie breaker (no score in normal time) to City Boys,
while Bombay Boys edged out Rising Stars 2-0 in the other quarter final
match.

Nicholas (Niku) of City Boys had another excellent day in the goal when
he saved the penalty of veteran James of G.O.A yellow in the tie
breaker. Sidney and Menino scored for City Boys, while only Ian could
find the net for G.O.A yellow. City Boys knowing their limitations
played to a plan of holding fort for the entire 30 minutes, while G.O.A
Yellow had a couple of chances which were not converted.

In the other quarter final match, Rising Stars depended too much on
Mustafa upfront and were unable to convert any of their moves into
goals. Terence scored for Bombay boys in the first half, and Milagres
made it 2-0 in the dying minutes of the game.

Bombay Boys will now meet the winners of Santos F.C v/s Curtorcares
while City Boys will play the winner of Buffao Solders v/s Paradiso.
Both the matches are scheduled to be played today at 5:45pm and 6:30pm
respectively.
