===============================================
Folks,

There is considerable hype associated with IFFI…

The Incredibles was premiered in Hollywood on 24 Oct. 2004.

American Daylight was premiered at the London Film Festival on 21 Oct. 2004. I know because I was there. The screening was followed by a lively discussion with some of the cast and crew including Director Roger Christian; Writer Farrukh Dhondy (his next screenplay is going to set in Goa) and the main star, Koel Puri.

The film is a modern day thriller set in a globalised world where bills and banking enquiries in the USA are answered by workers in call centres in India. Sujata (Koel Puri) is a call centre recruit who is taught to speak with an American accent and re-named 'Sue'.

BTW: Bride & Prejudice is also going to be screened at IFFI. It has been released in the UK and to tie in with the film, Sunpride is running a promotion on juice drinks packaged by Tetra Pak which gives consumers the chance to win a 14-night honeymoon in Goa. The promotion features on Tropical Juice Drink packed in Tetra Brik aseptic 1-litre base cartons with ReCap.

It is not clear if the winner will also be provided with a partner – Perhaps Samir knows :-)
