It is no longer the claustrophobic air of some 30-year-old theatres suffused with urinal stinks, it is rather the whoosh of air-conditioned coolness with Goan and international cuisine, combo meals and a variety of beverages promising wholesome entertainment. INOX leisure Ltd, the big name in the entertainment industry that has launched five properties in the country had a very tight deadline of a record 180 days to complete the project in Goa for the IFFI, said CEO of the company, Shishir Baijal on Tuesday. While most folks are still debating where to go at the end of the year, these two already have a whole plan chalked out — and a pretty exciting one at that. Goa is their destination of choice and their plans include spinning tracks at a shack on the beach from early evening into the wee hours, from December 24 to December 30. Nikhil tells us to expect beach volleyball and bodybuilding contests, adding, with great relish, that there will be a bikini contest too. Months away, we can already feel the Goan season heating up!
