Dear Cecil, Tobacco is addictive. Ask any smoker, chewer or snorter of tobacco to give it up and see the reaction...if you disbelieve this. A drug lord from Columbia[ Daniel Otega d"Escobar, if I am not mistaken] once said, " The Yankees are rich and their drug [tobacco] is good. We are poor and our drug[cocaine] is illegal. If Americans grew poppy, opium would be a medicine, not a drug. " As ABBA rightly put it in their song "Money,money,money"...it is a rich man's world. Remo is just saying it in another context. > From: Cecil Pinto <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Weekender (Gomantak Times on Sunday 14th Nov. 2004) had an > interview with Remo Fernandes. It is not a drug, it is not an IMFL...it is our spirit of freedom...even during colonial rule. Viva Goa. Miguel
