GOAN S.A.T. AWARD
Due to the continued generosity of Anthony Azavedo & Alfred Braganza, the
G.O.A is please to announce that we will be offering a S.A.T award again
this year. Both Anthony & Alfred have been donating this annual
award for many years now & it is customary that we give this award away at
our Christmas Dance. This award helps promote the importance of education &
gives us the opportunity to encourage & support our young Goan scholars.
All 11th and 12th Grade Goan Scholars are invited to apply for this annual
award. One of the parents should be Goan. Please submit your SAT TEST
SCORES, duly countersigned by your school Counselor. Last year's 11th
graders are also welcome to apply again. Test scores must be received by
December 4th. As in years past, scores will remain absolutely CONFIDENTIAL.
They may be sent to any of the following members:

Attached is information about Caritas-Goa, an orphanage & non-profit
institution run by the Goan archdiocese. We have identified them as a
deserving recepient for 50% of the money we make on our Christmas Dance
raffle. Anyone interested in donating a raffle item, please call or email
me. Everyone will receive a detailed report on how exactly the money donated
was used by Caritas-Goa.
