I'm not sure about this, but she could have problems with her domicile requirements. Admission is usually after the Std XII/X results, sometime when the academic year starts in June. Please ask Yvonne <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, who helps with career counselling, for more details.

For non-resident Goans, domicile requirements can cut in negatively.

There are other institutions that offer admission too, like St Martha's in Bangalore. Unfortunately these are not widely known about. Maybe word should be spread about opportunities like these. Could Goa Sudharop help with a useful database of opportunities? Professional qualifications is the first step; once that is attained, jobs will follow. FN

This is good news for us Goans - to know that a nursing college is going to be set up soon. How I wish this dream comes true at the earliest cause i need to get my daughter enrolled for nursing. Presently she is studying in Mumbai.
Shall appreciate if you could give more details on this -like the approx year the nursing college would start operating.etc.

Thanks
