The North Goa Caju Drinkers Association has called a meeting of its Executive Committee to protest against this. It was a noisy meeting with a lot of cursing against the 'Gorment'. Here are some comments this reporter managed to get from the ensuing bedlam.

At the end of the meeting there were two distinct groups of the NGCDA formed. Those who were willing to accept Urrack being served, NGCDA-U, and those who insist on Caju Feni, NGCDA-F.

And the building near the Don Bosco School entrance, with a sharp sliver jutting out, has been declared as offensive to anyone's aesthetic senses and the builders have been told to cover it up for the duration of the IFFI.
Government offices will be closed for all ten days at 4 p.m. Which will not make any great difference. Work never gets done anyway. And all schools in the Miramar area have been asked to shut down for the duration.
