Hoax? My travel agent, MGM in Panjim -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- was offering a Goa-London-Goa flight with hotel for approx Rs 17,000. But the terms were departure Goa Dec 17 and return on Jan 2.
Other options were obviously filled-up.
Anyway, since Eddie was keen to convince me that Goa is a better place at this time of the year -- and more importantly, he didn't swallow the bait of exchanging homes for this period -- we didn't fall for that offer ;-)
I don't know if it's still available.
Anyway, as our London friends would say, not the best of times to visit London. But then, what's new about making some small sacrifices for the greater glory of ensuring that tourism works? FN
